Free racing game featuring hilarious gore

In Guts and Glory, players have the opportunity to accidentally dismember their family in a unique racing game, players take their virtual family members on a racing trip whilst trying to avoid traps, obstacles and other homicidal road users. Regardless of their own injuries or those of their family members, players compete for the glory of winning.

Gameplay

The racing in Guts and Glory begins with a father and son on a bicycle, as they race down the track, players help them negotiate jumps and obstacles whilst avoiding traps such as spinning blades and spiked balls. Losing is as much fun as winning, crashes result in flying limbs and dismemberment for the father and his unfortunate son. Players can progress to family cars, a sports car and a quad as they gain points. Players gain additional game points by flattening other racers whilst avoiding attempts on their own lives. The game also has a level editor, where players can design their own levels and set up their own traps.

Summary of the Game

Guts and Glory may be highly offensive to some owing to the subject matter, however, the game is very cartoon-ish, and the results of accidents are undeniably hilarious. The level designer ensures playability, but the main problem is that the game has only recently been developed, this version is an early release, so it is quite buggy. There are also loading problems on some platforms.

PROS
